English as a Foreign Language

The Language Center of Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco, is seeking applications from qualified and experienced instructors in “English as a Foreign Language” for full-time positions starting Fall 2024. 

Education & Experience:

M.A. in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field with a TESOL certificate, Minimum 2 years of full-time experience teaching in a college-level English language program, Experience with and knowledge of a variety of curricular approaches and methodologies for teaching English as a Foreign Language, from elementary to advanced levels, Experience with teaching EAP and English Composition, Strong organizational skills and a collaborative approach to working with others.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach up to 20 hours a week (full-time),

Hold regular office hours,

Regularly attend meetings,

Develop learning and assessment materials,

Collaborate with other faculty and administrative staff,

Actively support the mission, core values, and teaching philosophies of the Language Center,

Participate in service to the Language Center and the University.
