JOB SUMMARY:
Assists in all activities in the Registrar's Office related to class registration, class schedule assembly, and academic policy and curriculum implementation and execution.

Assists in all activities in the Registrar's Office related to class registration, class schedule assembly, and academic policy and curriculum implementation and execution.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serves as a point of entry to the Registrar's for all constituencies by managing walk-in students/faculty/staff/others, answering the office telephone, and monitoring the office email account
- Communicates effectively with students, faculty, and others regarding students academic progress
- Processes transcript requests
- Verifies students enrollment to various outside agencies
- Participates in all activities associated with course registration, grading, monitoring of students progress, and curriculum implementation
- Serves as point of contact for the Apostille process for students in the graduate TESOL program. Executes and implements the process in a timely manner
- Helps train students on how to use Empower's degree audit as needed
- Performs computer data entry associated with the Registrars Office as assigned
- Executes all College policies and procedures as appropriately approved by the faculty and administration
- Collaborates with other offices as needed (Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Accounts, etc.)
- Ensures accurate and confidential maintenance of all student academic records in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
- Provides general academic support to students, faculty, and staff
- Serve on College committees as assigned
- Maintains a professional, respectful, and collaborative office and demeanor
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree; experience in college administrative offices or related work preferred
- Excellent technological skills, especially in a student information system and Microsoft Office
- Ability to collaborate with various offices and personnel on campus
- Deliberate organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal
- Ability to prioritize projects
