Hiring Range: Part-time adjunct teaching faculty-ranked appointment. Salary commensurate with the experience of the applicant in graduate education in the field, related full-time occupational employment, and full-time equivalent teaching.

Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves Virginia's capital city and five nearby counties. Annually, our four campus sites serve approximately 13,000 credit students and provide training for 7,400 students through the Community College Workforce Alliance. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in TESOL or related field, such as Foreign Language, English, or Linguistics.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in TESOL or related field; or Master's degree with eighteen (18) graduate semester hours in TESOL or a related field. Previous community college teaching experience. Strong written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to provide innovative, student-centered ESL instruction in both in-person and online synchronous modalities. Demonstrated proficiency in classroom technology (experience with Zoom and Canvas a plus). Demonstrated ability to teach writing, oral communication, and/or reading. Demonstrated ability to teach skill levels from low-intermediate to advanced. Willing to teach in-person and/or online synchronous as needed (in-person classes the more likely modality). Experience working or living abroad a plus. Fluency in a second language a plus.
