Qualifications
A Master”s in Applied Linguistics/ SLA / TESL / TEFL (or closely-related field) and a minimum of three years of teaching experience, preferably in a US-based intensive English program - OR - A Master”s/Doctorate in a related field and a minimum of 18 earned credit-hours at the graduate level in the areas of linguistics, culture and society, educational foundations, second-language pedagogy, second-language assessment, and a minimum of four years of teaching experience, preferably in a US-based intensive English program; Prior experience with sponsored programs, project management. Preferred Qualifications: An earned degree in business or project management/administration Demonstrated interest in promoting effective language teaching A record of sponsored program and grant management Expertise teaching ESL at the college level Overseas teaching experience Professional involvement in the field Fluency in a second or additional language
